Ready to beta test your Apple TV App?

When your Apple TV App is ready for beta testing, PocketPlatform support will provide you a TestFlight link that can be used to install the channel on one or more Apple TV devices:

Installation TestFlight

To get started, install TestFlight on the device you’ll use for testing.  Open the App Store on your Apple TV, search for TestFlight and install the App.  You should install TestFlight on an Apple TV where you can sign in with the same Apple App Store Account as on your iOS device.

    1. Open the email sent to you with the TestFlight link on your iOS device and tap the link.
    2. Tap Accept for the app you want to test.
    3. Open TestFlight on Apple TV. You must be signed in to the same App Store account you used on your iOS device.
    4. Install the app you want to test.

The App will be added to your home screen.

Ready to beta test your Roku Channel?

When your Roku Channel is ready for beta testing, PocketPlatform support will provide you a “vanity URL” that can be used to install the channel on one or more Roku devices. To install a channel with a vanity URL:

The channel will be added to your channel lineup on all Roku devices associated with your Roku Account.

Note: When installing a channel from the web, you will need to check for system updates before the channel will appear on your home screen. To check for system updates on your Roku device, navigate to Settings > System > System Update > Check Now.

Congratulations in joining the PocketPlatform Community! We are so excited you are here! If you are filling out your branding form, there are just a few images that we’ll need from you to get started. Please keep in mind that if you would prefer to use the same image in multiple places, we will still need you to upload an image for each section in the App Branding Form. We prefer that all images be in a JPG format.
